Freddie Eugene Lewis

Freddie Eugene Lewis, age 65 of West Jefferson, died Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mr. Lewis was born on October 12, 1951 in Edward, IN to Robert and Edna Mahala Lewis.  He was proceeded in death by his father.  Freddie enjoyed working in his flower and vegetable gardens.  He was a gifted gardener, you could even say he had a "green thumb".

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Lloyd Day. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens with military rites.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his mother, Edna Lewis of West Jefferson, brother, Jerry Lewis of West Jefferson, nephew B.J. Lewis and niece, Wendy Cole.
