Rodney Eugene Miller

Rodney Eugene Miller, age 58 of West Jefferson passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at his home.  Rodney was born February 22, 1965 in Ashe County to the late Hurby and Della Faye Taylor Miller.  He loved his boys very much.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting and trading guns and was a huge NASCAR fan.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 31, 2023 in the Stephens Community Cemetery by Rev. Frank Woods and Jake Miller. The family will receive friends following the service.

Mr. Miller is survived by three sons, Dustin, Dakota and Dayton Miller all of West Jefferson, two brothers, Randy Miller of West Jefferson and Richard “Ricky” Miller of Boone and two sisters, Sandra Dillard (Clarence) of West Jefferson and Judy Hatley of Salisbury. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
