Sally Ann (Greene) Farmer

Sally Ann Greene Farmer, age 80 of Jefferson, formerly of Creston, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Generations Ashe. Mrs. Farmer was born on November 27, 1941 in Ashe County to Hardy McDonald Greene and Mildred Perkins Greene. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Reggie Farmer.

Mrs. Farmer worked at Sprague Electric, Hanes, General Assembly, then retired from Leviton. She was faithful to her church as long as she was able to attend.

Mrs. Farmer is survived by:  two sisters, Mildred "Peggy" Harless and Linda Hahn Rash of West Jefferson; three nephews, Dwight Harless, Richard Hahn (Danielle), and Michael Hahn of West Jefferson; one niece, Roberta Harless; three great-nieces, Kaitlyn Hembree (Derrick), Michelle Harless (Marcus), and Natalie Williams (Tyler); one great-great-niece, Layken Hembree; one great-great-nephew, Branch Hembree.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 2:00pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Tom Graybeal. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Ashelawn prior to the funeral service.
