Alice Hardin

Alice Elizabeth Miller Hardin age 90 of West Jefferson, NC died Saturday, August 23, 2003 at the Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Hardin was born on March 11, 1913 in Ashe County, NC to Tom and Nancy Eller Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband William Taft Hardin. Mrs. Hardin was dedicated wife and mother, and when she was younger she attended Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tom Stuart and Rev. Reeves Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday, August 25, 2003 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home. Flowers will be appreciated or memorials may be made to the Hardin Cemetery Fund, c/o Earl Hardin, 595 Buck Mtn. Circle, West Jefferson, NC 28694.

Daughter: Lena Shumate of West Jefferson, NC
