Alice McGinnis Towber

Mrs. Alice McGinnis Towber, age 94 of Warrensville died on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Margate Health and Rehab Center in Jefferson. Mrs. Towber was born on March 29, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA to William Franklin and Elizabeth Wilkins McGinnis. Mrs. Towber was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Peter Towber, her son-in-law, Thomas Lee Graybeal and her siblings. Mrs. Towber was a member of Big Laurel Church of Christ in Christian Union. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, September 25, 2015 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Darrell Graybeal. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday, September 25, 2015.

Mrs. Towber is survived by: Daughter, Jean Graybeal of Warrensville, Son, William Peter Towber, Jr. and wife Frances of Lititz, PA, Granddaughter, Sherree Lisa Graybeal of Warrensville, Grandson, Thomas Lee Graybeal of Warrensville, Granddaughter, Gloria Jean Graybeal of West Jefferson, Granddaughter, Allison Renee Towber of Lititz, PA; also surviving are 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
