Alma Howell Hayes age 98 of West Jefferson, NC died Sunday, May 16, 2004 at the Ashe Living Center.
Mrs. Hayes was born on January 1, 1906 in Ashe County, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband Deward Hayes.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Rev. Pricilla Walker will officiate. Burial will follow in the Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 18, 2004 from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Sisters: Ardna Lail of Todd, NC
Kathleen Miller of West Jefferson, NC
Several nieces and nephews.
