Alma Lewis

Mrs. Alma Owens Craft Lewis age 86 of Purlear formally of Ashe County died Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Avante Care Center in Wilkesboro.  Mrs. Lewis was born April 2, 1922.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Febie Owens; infant daughters: Ruth and Gladys and son; Clarence Craft.   Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Johnny White, Rev. Ronnie Bumgarner, Rev. David Sheelor and Rev. Wayne Craft.  Mrs. Lewis will lie in state 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Riverview Primitive Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 1st at the Church of God Union Assembly in North Wilkesboro.   Mrs. Lewis is survived by:   2 sons: Gene R. Craft of Boone, NC & Rev. Wayne Craft of N.
