Alta Euldine Jones

Ms. Alta Euldine Jones, age 81, of Lansing, NC died on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at her residence. Ms. Jones was born on February 9, 1933 in Ashe County, NC to Lester H. and Etta Blevins Jones. Ms. Jones was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Roy Dale Jones. Ms. Jones enjoyed listening to music, especially when she was able to go to the Helton Community Center for their special music events. She liked to stay in contact with family and friends, watch television and spend time with her cats.

Inurnment services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum of Prayer by Rev. Tommy McClure.

Ms. Jones is survived by: daughter, Rose Mary Street of North Wilkesboro, NC, sister, Pauline Jones Carter of Wilkesboro, NC, granddaughter, Sandi Street of Charlotte, NC; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Helton Ambulance Service, c/o Denver Caudill, 1170 Parsons Hill Road, Lansing, NC 28643..
