Ardeen (Taylor) Goss Boyer

Ardeen Taylor Goss Boyer age 92 of West Jefferson died on Sunday morning, November 26, 2017 at Forest Ridge Assisted Living. Mrs. Boyer was born in Lansing to Lee Roy and Etta Ennis Barker Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, her first husband, Jesse Willard Goss, her second husband, Julian Edward Boyer, all her brothers and sisters, Stella Faye Taylor Richardson, Bertha Mae Taylor Gilley, Hansel Eugene Taylor, Cecil Woodrow Taylor, Ennis Ruth Taylor Phillips, Beulah Pearl Taylor Boyer, Ruby Juanita Taylor Ancarrow, Delmer Carroll “Buck” Taylor, and Irene Taylor Gross. Mrs. Boyer was a housewife and retired from Ashe Memorial Hospital in 1988 as a Dietary Technician.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, December 1, 2017 at Badger Funeral Home by Rev. Tim Roten. Burial will follow in the Goss Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12 – 1 prior to the service.

Mrs. Boyer is survived by: two daughters, Wanda Lee Goss Baker & husband James of Raleigh and Janis Goss Pennington & husband Duane of West Jefferson, one son, Jesse Clint Goss & wife Joann of Texas, five grandchildren, Christy Michelle Pennington, James Brian Baker, Heather Eliane Pennington, Jessica Amber Goss Howard, Brandon Jacob Goss, seven great-grandchildren, Megan Gale Neaves, Jesse Daivd Earp, MaKayla Belle Earp, Dyllan Jean Howard, Haley Elizabeth Wiedner, Caleb Eli Morse, and Tanner Phillip Grogan; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
