Ardna Blackburn

Ardna Mae Church Blackburn age 80 of Fleetwood, NC died Tuesday, July 9, 2002 at the Watauga Medical Center in Boone, NC. Mrs. Blackburn was born on June 19, 1922 in Ashe County, NC to Lindsey and Adeline Payne Blackburn. She was preceded in death by three brothers Willard, Clark, and Edward Church, and one sister Iris Blackburn.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the Gap Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Paul Coffey will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 11, 2002 from 7:00 till 9:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home.

Husband: Ocie Blackburn

Daughter: Joyce Blackburn Hardin and husband Frank of Fleetwood, NC

Granddaughter: Mary Hardin Ritter and husband Bruce of Gibsonville, NC

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
