Arlene Shatley

Ada Arlene Jordan Shatley, age 82 of Jefferson, died Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Margate Health and Rehab Center.  Mrs. Shatley was born March 28, 1938 in Alleghany County to the late Spencer and Lona McClure Jordan.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carroll Dean Shatley, granddaughter, Robin Jeanine Shatley and four sisters.  Her hobbies included, quilting, crocheting, embroidery and reading.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Lloyd Day.

Mrs. Shatley is survived by her son, Jeffery Shatley of Jefferson, step-daughter, Diane Fitzpatrick and step-son, Leonard Shatley both of Wilmington, DE.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
