Ballard Shatley

Ballard Edison Shatley age 66 of West Jefferson, NC died Friday, December 26, 2003 at the Ashe Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Shatley was born on April 12, 1937 in Ashe County, NC to Avery and Beatrice Wagoner Shatley. He attended Blue Ridge Pentecostal Church. He loved to fish, hunt, and garden.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, December 28, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gene Shepherd, Rev. Bud Shepherd, and Rev. Luther Chambers will officiate. A military graveside will follow in the Foster-Mash Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 27, 2003 from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home.
