Belinda Jane Hodgson

Miss Belinda Jane Hodgson age 40, of West Jefferson, died on Friday, January 1, 2016 at her home. Miss Hodgson was born on September 3, 1975 in Watauga County to Don Albert and Violet Jane Burgess Hodgson. Miss Hodgson was preceded in death by her mother, and brother, Ricky Hodgson. Miss Hodgson was a faithful member of Buffalo Baptist Church. She enjoyed being on the computer and with her animals. Belinda loved spending time with her family especially the summer family cookouts.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Ken Furches and Rev. Joey McClure. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Miss Hodgson is survived by: father & step mother, Don & Mava Hodgson of Crumpler, step brother, Jimmy Price of Galax, VA, fiance, Thomas Roark of Creston, special friend, Makayla Roark; two nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Flowers will be appreciated, or memorials may be made to the family c/o Ashelawn Memorial Chapel, 3470 US Hwy 221 North, Jefferson, NC 28640.

The family is meeting at the home of Don and Mava Hodgson on Hwy 16 in Crumpler.
