Bessie Miller

Mrs. Bessie A. Miller, age 80 of Lenoir, NC formerly of Ashe County, died Sunday, January 12, 2003 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 A.M at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel in Jefferson, NC with Rev. Tim Suter officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Taylor Cemetery in Lansing, NC. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 prior to services.

Mrs. Miller was born in Ashe County, NC, March 21, 1922 to Calvin and Ettie Perry Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Filden G. Miller, and a stepson Raymond Miller.

Locie Gragg of Lenoir, NC
Kathy Key of Lexington, NC
Elsie Henderson of Granite Falls, NC
Jane Stikes of Maryland
Marie Walton of Morganton, NC

One son: Franklin Ray Miller of Lexington, NC

One sister: Dora Taylor of Lansing, NC

One brother: Jessie Roark

Also surviving are 23 Grandchildren, 37 Great grandchildren, 2 Great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews
