View Mrs. Braddock's Video Tribute Mrs. Betty Jane Calhoun Braddock, age 74, of Lenoir, NC died on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care in Hudson, NC. Mrs. Braddock was born on July 6, 1936 in Bluefield, WV to the late Robert Lee Lawson and Dolly DeBord Lawson. Two of her favorite things were pansies and hummingbirds.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Lloyd Day. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.  Mrs. Braddock is survived by: 4 Daughters - Patty Smith of Tennessee, Pamela Pack of Gamewell, NC, Tammy Story of Granite Falls, NC, and Misty Hartzog of Waynesville, NC; also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
