Betty Lou (Lambert) Brown

Betty Lou Lambert Brown, age 78 of Crumpler, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at her home.  Mrs. Brown was born May 19, 1943 in Ashe County to the late Gaither and Ada Mae Mullis Lambert.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Brown, son, Tony Curtis Brown, brothers, Ray and Rufus Lambert and special friend, John Darnell.  Betty was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed going out with friends and gardening but she loved spending time with her grandchildren most of all.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, July 23, 2021 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ken Gregory and Rev. J. C. Darnell. Burial will follow in the Wallace Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 pm prior to the service.

Mrs. Brown is survived by, two granddaughters, Ginger Brown of West Jefferson and Brittany Pruitt and husband, Vester of Crumpler, 6 great-grandchildren, Traython, Sidney, Harley, Anthony, Evie and Ace and daughter-in-law, Martha Brown.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
