Betty Jane (Coe) Emerson

Betty Jane Coe Emerson, age 75 of Whitetop, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Emerson was born on March 23, 1945 in Grayson, Virginia to the late Wilburn and Rassie Blevins Coe.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Wade, Roger and Randy Coe.

Mrs. Emerson was a member of Upper Helton Baptist Church, she enjoyed attending church, going shopping and spending time with her friends and family.  Betty retired from United Chemicon.

Mrs. Emerson is survived by her husband, Buddy Emerson, four brothers, Junior and Gene Coe both of Whitetop, Tommy Coe of Ridgeway, VA and Benny Coe of West Jefferson, two sisters, Minnie Huffman of Whitetop and Eula Mae Osborne of Harmony, NC.  Betty is also survived by several nieces and nephews including one special niece, Jennifer Loggins of Mouth of Wilson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 11:00 am at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jimmy Williams and Elder Larry Peak.  Burial will follow in the Spencer Branch Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 prior to the funeral service at Badger Funeral Home.  It is requested that everyone in attendance please wear a mask or face covering.
