Beulah Beatrice (Brown) Hartzog

Beulah Beatrice Brown Hartzog, age 90 of West Jefferson, died Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Margate Health and Rehab Center.  Mrs. Hartzog was born October 17, 1928 in Ashe County to the late James and Celia Osborne Brown.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hartzog, son, Stephen Hartzog, sisters, Chessie Kemp and Faye Brown.  Beulah loved working in the cafeteria at Fleetwood Elementary School and spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tommy Dollar and Rev. Joey McClure.  Burial will follow in the Hartzog Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:00 pm prior to the service.

Mrs. Hartzog is survived by, granddaughters, Makisha Hartzog-Howell and Courtney Hartzog and husband, Justin Manganelli, great-grandchild, Jordi Howell and nephew, J. C. Kemp and wife Lynn.
