Mrs. Blanche Alsie Miller Hart, age 90, of Segraves Nursing Home, died Saturday, March 29, 2003 at the Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson, NC.
Funeral services will be held Sunday evening, March 30, at 8:00 P.M. with Rev. Bluford Eldreth officiating. Interment will follow Monday, March 31, 11:00 A.M. at Ashelawn Memorial Gardens in Jefferson.
Mrs. Hart was born in Ashe County, NC January 15, 1913 to William and Elizabeth Roop Miller. She was a homemaker and preceded in death by her husband Willard Hart and a son Ted Hart.
Survivors include:
Two daughters - Wanda "JoAnn" Spencer of Grassy Creek, NC
Betty & husband Robert Alexander of Winston Salem, NC
One brother - Lester "Shorty" Miller of Lansing, NC
One sister Edra Miller of Lansing, NC
Five grandchildren, Seven Great grandchildren several nieces and nephews also survive.
