Blanche Roark

Blanche S Roark age 84 of West Jefferson, NC died Saturday, July 26, 2003 at the Watauga Medical Center. Mrs. Roark was born on April 15, 1919 in Ashe County, NC to Ed and Pearl Bowers Roark. She was a member of the Round Knob Baptist Church, and served as a volunteer for the Ashe County Foster Grandparent Program. She loved to read, garden, and was a devoted wife and mother.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jack Pugh, Rev. Steve Viers, and Rev. Ralph Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 28, 2003 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home.
