Jasper Blevins, age 89 of Lansing, NC died Wednesday, October 30, 2002 at the Segraves Care Center. Mr. Blevins was born March 5, 1913 in Ashe County to Wiley and Mary Ann McClure Blevins. His wife, Rachel Blevins preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 2nd at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Rev. Bluford Eldreth and Rev. Ronda Rash will officiate. Burial will follow in the Scott-Blevins Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 till 9:00 PM Friday, November 1st at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Several nieces & nephews survive Mr. Blevins.
