Bobby Junior Bare

Bobby Junior Bare, age 77, of West Jefferson, died Thursday, February 22, 2018 peacefully at home.

Mr. Bare was born September 1, 1940 to the late Woodrow and Faye Bare.  He was a member of the West Jefferson Church of Christ.  He worked up until the day he got too sick to do so for Vecellio Group, Inc operating heavy equipment.  He was preceeded in death by his parents and his brother Arvil Bare.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Ruth Brown Bare.  He has two daughters Lisa Throop and husband Buddy and Jackie Carden and husband Robert Carden.  Three grandchildren; Kendra Mabe, Caden Arnold, and Troy Arnold.  Four step grandchildren; Bobby Carden, John Carden, Caleb Throop, and Weston Throop.  He has three brothers; J.C, Jerry, and Terry and one sister Dorothy Hoppers and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Caden Arnold, Troy Arnold, Caleb Throop, Weston Throop, Kevin Farber, Cheyenne Miller and Dakota Miller.

Mr. Bare enjoyed being with his family, operating heavy equipment, and always attending his grand children's sporting events.  He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 24 with services to follow at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Minister Tim Canup. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.
