Bonnie Sharon Harless Phillips

Mrs. Bonnie Sharon Harless Phillips, age 69, of Granite Falls, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at her residence. She was born on May 27, 1955, in Ashe County to the late Rev. Ross Harless and Edna Holeman Harless. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Ross Harless.

Mrs. Phillips was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Ashe County and prior co-owner of the Lexington Country Club Snack Bar.

Survivors include her husband, George William Phillips of the home; two sons, William Shannon Phillips and wife, Sherri of Covington, Georgia and Richard Chad Phillips and wife, Courtney of Taylorsville; three brothers, Rev. Mark Harless and wife, Sherry of West Jefferson, Rev. Robert Harless and wife, Peggy of Laurel Springs, and Tim Harless of Lansing; five sisters, Janet Phillips and husband, Ken of Salisbury, Naomi Lamoreaux of Elkin, Karen Lambert of West Jefferson, Patsy Mash and husband, Donnie of West Jefferson, and Amy Miller and husband, Eric of Fleetwood; four grandchildren, Wade Garrett Phillips, Karlie McKenzie Phillips, Kyle Bryson and wife, Kelly, and Olivia Fallin Phillips; and her loving pet companion, Micky.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Bass-Smith Granite Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00PM with Rev Mark Harless officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the funeral home.
