Brenda Kathleen (Turnmire) Sheets

Brenda Kathleen Turnmire Sheets, age 60 of Jefferson, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 at Watauga Medical Center.  Brenda was born August 24, 1961 in Ashe County, NC to the late Major and Effie McCoy Turnmire.  Brenda enjoyed fishing, antiquing and shopping for deals at yard sales.  She loved to pull pranks on her family and friends.  Over everything family was the most important thing to her.

Brenda is survived by three daughters, Debbie Eller (Donny) of Sandford, Kimberly Barnes (David) of Jefferson and Belinda Jones (Michael) of Crumpler, five sisters, Mary Farmer and Marie Goss both of Jefferson, Laura Dillard of Crumper, Shelby Holman and Linda Turnmire both of Lansing and one brother, Worth Turnmire of Sparta.  Ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Rick Miller and Rev. J.D. Walton.  Burial will follow in the West Jefferson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 pm, one hour prior to the service.

The family will be meeting at the home of Kim and David Barnes at 115 Valley Dr. in Jefferson.
