Calvene Ann (Green) McMillan

Calvene Ann Green McMillan, age 81 of Jefferson, died Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center.  Mrs. McMillan was born December 3, 1938 in Groton, CT to the late Ralph and Dorothy Mae Seagrave Green.  She was a banker for many years, counselor at Salem Academy and later a nanny for her grandchildren.  Calvene was a big fan of Johnny Cash, and she also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, traveling and reading western novels.  She was very proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed talking about them to her friends.

Funeral services will be private.

Mrs. McMillan is survived by her daughter, Tracie McMillan Downer and husband, Bob of Jefferson, grandchildren, Landon Calvin Jordan and Lily Grace Jordan, former husband, Lee McMillan of Crumpler.
