Carrie McNeill Barker, age 95 of West Jefferson, NC died Friday, January 16, 2004 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Barker was born August 8, 1908 in Ashe County to the late Addison and Melissa McNeill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Everett Barker.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, January 18, 2004 at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. J. C. Norton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Barker-Eller-McNeill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 till 9:00 PM. Saturday, January 17th at Badger Funeral Home.

Sons: C. Wayne Barker of Jefferson, NC & Eddie Barker of Boone, NC
23 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
