Cecilie Louise Robison

Cecilie Louise Robison, known to her friends as “Ces” age 72, of Jefferson, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  Ms. Robison was born March 27, 1950 in Saline, MI to the late Duncan Duane and Reva Wardle Robison.  Cecilie was 1968 graduate of Saline High School.  She moved to Washington in 1982 and relocated to North Carolina in 2008 and built Ginger Root Farm.  She was a great animal lover and had horses since she was 8 years old.  Ms. Robison was a member of Peak Creek Ruritan Club and Ashe County Piecemakers Quilt Guild.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Glendale Springs. Father Stephen Sedgwick officiating.

Ms. Robison is survived by three sisters, Nancy (Bill) Schettenhelm of Wenatchee, WA, Susan B. (Steve) Miller of Jefferson and Laurie (Jim) Demick of Sumner, WA, nieces and nephews, Laurie Smith of Palm Beach Garden, FL, Karen Szabo of Milan, MI, Mark Szabo of Petersburg, MI, Eric Szabo Lafayette, CO, Lisa Krull Weber of Moses Lake, WA, Elizabeth Anne Miller of Brooklyn, NY, Lydia Ann Woodward of Spokane, WA, Nathan Thomas Demick of Port Orchard, WA Jennie Lam Demick of Puyallup, WA and Lisa Louise Gorich of Newcastle, WA; also surviving are several great nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to any animal non-profit of the donor’s choice.
