Mr. Charles Noel Sheets, age 89 of Altamonte Springs, FL, formerly of Ashe County, died Friday, December 9, 2005 at his home. Mr. Sheets was born October 6, 1916 in Ashe County to the late Robert and Maggie Woodie Sheets. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Ruth Pennington and four brothers; Herbert, Vernon Cliff and John Paul Sheets. Mr. Sheets was a US Navy veteran serving in WWII. He was a VFW member. He loved gospel music. He was foreman at the Central Florida Zoo. He worked 25 years at Myers-Gallagher.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steve Viers will officiate. Burial will follow in the Big Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 13th at Badger Funeral Home.

Daughter: Margaret Sheets of the home

Sons: Gregory Sheets and wife Pam of Apopka, FL and David Sheets and wife Rita of Sanford, FL

Sister: Virginia Springer of Browns Mills, NJ

Grandchildren: Chuck Sheets, Robert Sheets, Amanda Sheets and Laura Sheets
