Mrs. Charmie Mae Elliott Miller, 81 of Jefferson, died Sunday morning, September 7, 2003, at the Ashe Living Center in Jefferson. Mrs. Miller was born Feb. 13, 1922 to Dora and Wiley Elliott. She was the widow of Mr. Duard Miller.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 PM at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Fred Richardson, and Rev. Tommy Dollar. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 prior to the services. The burial will follow in the Staggs Creek Community Cemetery in Warrensville, NC.
Mrs. Miller is survived by one sister, Jean Hanes of High Point, NC; one sister-in-law, Ms. Janice Elliott of Warrensville,; one brother-in-law, Von Turner of West Jefferson; step-daughter, Janet Miller of Ohio: special cousin, Virginia Ashley of Jefferson: and a special care-giver, Cindy Rupard of Warrensville, NC.
Badger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
