Cindy Ham

Cynthia Jean May Ham, age 61 of Glendale Springs passed away, Saturday, September 21, 2019 at her home.  Cindy was born on Friday, January 17, 1958 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Charles Dawes and Mary Lucille Watson May.  Cindy enjoyed going to yard sales with Eddie.  She loved cats, watching her soap operas, Reese’s Cups and Pepsi-Cola.  Cindy was an avid movie buff. She also enjoyed rock and roll music and her favorite was Elvis.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 30, 2019 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Carl Hart. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Ham is survived by her companion of over twenty years, Eddie Baker of the home, two sons, Daniel Charles Ham of Raleigh and Bradley Todd Ham of Lansing.  Her sister Bessie May-Komm and husband, Rudolf of Longmont, CO, three grandchildren, Bradley Todd Ham Jr., Naomi Paige Ham both of Warrensville and Tailin Leah Shumate of Yadkinville, three aunts, Evelyn Neaves of Reidsville, Arlee Brown and husband, Bob and Violet Osborne both of Maryland, nephew, Clifford Farmer and a number of cousins also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of Ashelawn Memorial Chapel, 3470 U.S. Highway 221 North, Jefferson, NC 28640.
