Clara Cobb

Mrs. Clara Sheets Cobb, age 80 of Chesapeake, VA, died Monday, April 2, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Cobb was born February 19, 1927 in Shelbyville, KY to the late Rufus and Sue Crepps Sheets. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband; Theophilus Cobb and brother; George "Jack" Sheets. Clara was a member and former elder of First Presbyterian Church of Portsmouth, VA.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 7, 2007 at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Blythe officiating. Burial will follow in Big Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Saturday prior to the funeral.

Daughter: Dr. Cheryl Blythe and husband Wayne of Chesapeake, VA

Sister: Elizabeth Absher of Jefferson, NC

Brother: Jerry Sheets of Jefferson, NC

4 grandchildren: Andrew, Scott, Mark and Randy

Caregiver and friend: Mrs. Costella Ray
