Cody Nathaniel Keen age 29 of Manchester, TN formerly of Ashe County passed away on Friday. Mr. Keen was born in Watauga County February 24, 1994 to Steve and Amy Keen Roark. He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Roark, grandparents, Betty and Paul Roark, great-grandparents, Joe and Deladess Keen, and great-grandfather, James Harris.

Cody had a passion and love for building and restoring custom cars, his eye for detail could transform any car into a work of art that turned heads everywhere they went.  Cody also had a talent for music, and his guitar playing was something special.  But what truly set Cody apart was his larger-than-life personality.  He loved life and lived in the moment, he had an infectious energy that could light up a room and he never met a stranger.  In addition to his many talents and interests, Cody also served his country in the United States Army.  Cody was a good friend, amazing father he will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mr. Keen is survived by: son, Cameron Keen of Nashville, TN, fiancée, Kelcie Hossman, sons, Aiden and Jace, daughter, Ember all of Manchester, TN,  his mother, Amy Roark of West Jefferson, brother, Trent Roark and wife Faith and niece Maggie all of West Jefferson, grandparents, BJ and Lois Keen of Belfast, VA, grandmother, Lucille Latham of Jefferson, great-grandmother, Mary Harris, aunts and uncles, Thomas and Jody Davis of West Jefferson, Josh and Kacey Latham of Wilkesboro, Susie Yoggerst of Mt. City and Michael Roark of Creston; also surviving are several cousins.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 4:00pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.  Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens with Military Rites.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00pm one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family in care of Amy Roark; PO Box 1258 West Jefferson, NC 28694.
