Mr. Conley Paul Wilcox, age 69, of Jefferson, died on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. Mr. Wilcox was born on June 14, 1944 in Creston, NC, the Rich Hill Community, to Lester and Lilly Daughtery Wilcox. Mr. Wilcox was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Fred Wilcox.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Rick Miller. Entombment will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum of Prayer.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Wilcox is survived by: his wife, Charlene Wagner Wilcox; step daughter, Tereasa Osborne of Gastonia; two brothers, Glen Wilcox of High Point and Robert Wilcox of Lexington; two sisters, Pauline Roark of Thomasville and Virginia Roark of High Point; two step grandchildren, Abigail Osborne and Jacoby Osborne; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Rebuild North Beaver Baptist Church, c/o Jessica Yearick, 278 Country Mountain Lane, West Jefferson, NC 28694.
