Connie Lynn (Barker) Watt

Connie Lynn Barker Watt, age 64 of Todd, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.  Connie was born May 1, 1958 in Ashe County to the late Banner Earl Barker and Ruth Aleene Campbell Barker.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sister Deanna.  She was a graduate of Northwest Ashe High School and Catawba Valley Community College.  She worked as a bookkeeper/accountant, most recently for the North Carolina 4-H program at North Carolina State University.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Badger Funeral Home.

Mrs. Watt is survived by her husband, Stephen Robert Watt Sr., son, Michael Brandon Williams and wife Amanda of Newton, step-son, Stephen Robert Watt Jr. and wife Angela of Winston Salem, grandchildren, Ethan James Williams, Andrew James Watt, Jessica Anne Watt and Deanna Eileen Watt.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Salvation Army, 753 E. Main St., Jefferson, NC  28640.
