Johnny Dale Eldreth, better known as Dale, age 76 of Creston, NC, died Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mr. Eldreth was born September 10, 1929 in Ashe County to the late Lee and Ruth Sexton Eldreth. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Grace Parsons. Mr. Eldreth was a deacon and member of the Big Laurel Mennonite Church in Creston. He was a retiree of Thomasville Furniture.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 26, 2005 at the Big Laurel Mennonite Church. Pastor Kirby Herman, Pastor Mike Farmer and Pastor Darrell Graybeal will officiate. Burial will follow in the Cox-Davis Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 - 8:30 PM, Friday, Nov. 25th at the Big Laurel Mennonite Church.

Son: Robert Eldreth of West Jefferson, NC

Daughter: Linda Wilson of Creston

Sister: Clyde Ellis of Lansing, NC

4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews
