Danny Estel Billings

Mr. Danny Estel Billings, age 56 of Scottville, died on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at his home. Mr. Billings was born on January 25, 1964 in Guilford County to Johnnie Estel and Mary Watson Billings. He was preceded in death by his father and his stepfather, Dean Bare.

Mr. Billings enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, model cars, painting, and spending time with his dog Bear. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and a hardworking person.

Mr. Billings is survived by:  his wife, Denia Billings; six daughters, Ashley Lundy of Galax, Virginia, Casey Davis of Sparta, Hailey Billings of the home, Ashley Billings of Jefferson, April Billings of West Jefferson, and Deanna Billings of Jefferson; his mother, Mary Bare of Jefferson; two brothers, Adam (Angie) Billings and Wayne Billings, both of Jefferson; also surviving are seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Roy Putman. Burial will follow in Scottville Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body will lie in state Thursday evening, June 18, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.
