Darrell Breece Baldwin

Darrell Breece Baldwin age 79 of Lansing died Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Margate Health and Rehab. Center.  Mr. Baldwin was born September 22, 1939 in Ashe County to the late Wiley and Fannie Neaves Baldwin.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Edna Baldwin and sister Bonnie Howe.

Mr. Baldwin served in the United States Navy and was stationed in the Philippines.  He retired from United Chemi-Con after 40 years of service.  His hobbies included skiing, bike riding, golf and fishing at the outerbanks.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, January 14, 2019 at Badger Funeral Home by Rev. Fred Steelman and Rev. Charles McCoy.  Burial will follow in the Howell Hill Cemetery with Military Rites. The family will receive friends from 1 -2 prior to the service.

Mr. Baldwin is survived by, his wife, Shirley Baldwin, son, Greg Baldwin and wife Shelia of Lansing, brothers, Jack Baldwin of West Jefferson, Ray Baldwin of Woodbridge, VA and Jones Baldwin of Lansing, sisters, Rosemary Lewis of Tennessee and Donna Abad of Marion, VA and several nieces and nephews.
