Deborah Sturgill Veler

Deborah Lynn Sturgill Veler, age 48 of Jefferson, died Monday, September 22, 2003 at her home.

She was born on August 10, 1955 to John Arvil Sturgill, Sr. and Ruby Killen Sturgill Simmons. She married Arthur Joseph Veler, Sr. who preceded her in death in 1993. Mrs. Veler was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her children and family. She was a member of God's Family.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2003 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Rev. Lloyd Day and Minister David Lyalls will officiate. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

3 Brothers: Danny Lee Sturgill, Sr. and wife Brenda of Fleetwood, NC
John Arvil Sturgill, Jr. and wife Debbie of West Jefferson, NC
Richard William Sturgill and wife Dayna of West Jefferson, NC
Grandson: Devin Owen Courtner
