Dewitt Graybeal

Dewitt Jonathan Graybeal, age 92 of West Jefferson, died Monday, August 25, 2003 at the Ashe Living Center.

Mr. Graybeal was born in Ashe County on December 22, 1910, son of the late William Graybeal and Della Roark Graybeal. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Hartsoe Graybeal, his daughter Mary Graybeal Miller as well as his first wife, Zell Turner Graybeal.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2003 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Rev. James Greer and Rev. Herbert McCoy will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Ashley Cemetery in Warrensville.
