Donald Ray McMillan

Donald Ray McMillan, age 86, of Crumpler died on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at his residence with his beloved wife, Mabel, daughter, Eika, and son-in-law, Jeff, by his side. Mr. McMillan was born October 1, 1927 in Crumpler to the late Frank and Goldie Blevins McMillan.

Another chapter in his life included serving in the Army during the Korean War.

Mr. McMillan is survived by his wife, Mabel Pennington McMillan; daughter, Eika Knight of Raleigh, son-in-law, Jeff, and grandson, Forrest; daughter, Donna Howell of Crumpler, son-in-law, Kenny, granddaughters: Kendra, Kristin and Katlyn, and 3 great grandchildren; brother, Lee McMillan of Crumpler; and niece, Tracie Jordan of Jefferson.

Words of comfort and remembrance may be sent to the family through the funeral home's website at www.ashelawn.com.
