Donna Sue Testerman Osborne

Donna Sue Testerman Osborne, age 61, of Lansing, North Carolina, passed away on October 8, 2024 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 11, 1963, in Ashe County North Carolina to Reggie Lee Testerman and Ardene Clark. Donna was preceded in death by her father, her paternal grandparents, Wilson and Pearl Testerman and her maternal grandparents, Arthur and Laura Clark.

Donna had a love for adventure, whether it was riding 4-wheelers through the rugged landscapes of West Virginia or enjoying the scenic beauty of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Her love for the outdoors was matched by her affinity for technology; she had a knack for computers and a talent for staying connected with her many friends.

Throughout her life, Donna was a pillar of support to others, especially during her time working for ACTA and DSS. Her sense of duty and compassion even shone through during emergencies, where she often helped locate residences in times of need. Her kindness, reliability, and unwavering commitment to her community left a lasting impact on those who knew her.

In her quieter moments, Donna found comfort in watching her favorite TV shows, with a special fondness for the classic series Gunsmoke and The Virginian. Her warmth, generosity, and love for the people around her will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the many lives she touched.

Mrs. Osborne is survived by her husband, Michael Osborne, her mother, Ardene Clark Testerman (Bynum Richardson) of Lansing, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 2:00pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Lloyd Day, Minister Danny Miller and Elder Lundy Finley. Burial will follow in the Tuckerdale Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm one hour prior to the service.

Donna leaves behind a legacy of selflessness and dedication. She will be remembered not only for her contributions but for the joy and companionship she brought to so many.
