View this Videotribute Donna Gaye Miller Stanley, age 57, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at her home in Lansing, NC. Mrs. Stanley was born August 27, 1950 in Jefferson, NC to Walter Todd Miller and Chessie Miller Bowers. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by three brothers; Bill, Ray, and Jim Miller. Mrs. Stanley was a member of New Home Baptist Church. She was employed as a machine operator at United Chemi-Con. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 11:00 am at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel in Jefferson, NC by Rev. Joey McClure and Rev. Tommy Dollar. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:30 pm Friday, September 21, 2007 at Ashelawn. Flowers will be appreciated. Mrs. Stanley is survived by: Her husband: Harry "Bud" Stanley. Two sons: Randy Stanley of Lansing and Scott Stanley of Mountain City, TN. One daughter: Cindy Cox of West Jefferson, NC. Her mother: Chessie Bowers of Jefferson, NC. One brother: Tom Miller of Wilkesboro, NC. Two sisters: Betty Gambill and Faye Flanagan, both of West Jefferson, NC. Two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
