Dorothy Addell Davis

Dorothy Addell Davis, age 85 of Lansing died Sunday, February 7, 2021 at her home.  Mrs. Davis was born August 20, 1935 in West Virginia to the late Millard Ray and Martha Roark Davis.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by brothers, Gordon Lester Davis, Garfield “Garvey” Davis and Estel Perry Sr. and sister Osa Bessie Martin.  Her favorite pass times were playing cards, watching westerns, reading and spending time on the porch watching birds.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Sugar Grove Baptist Church by Elder Steven Douglas, Elder Robert Shatley and Pastor Jim Greer.  Burial will follow in the Perry Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 12:00, one hour prior to the service at the church. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing if attending.

Mrs. Davis is survived by, daughter, Beatte Davis of Lansing, son, Eddie Davis, better known as Fro of Lansing, grandchildren, Misty Miller, Audrey Miller and Jonathan Davis, 5 great-grandchildren and niece, Nancy Binder.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
