Earl Dean Hamm Sr.

Earl Dean Hamm, Sr., better known as Dean, age 72 of Fleetwood died on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at his home. Mr. Hamm was born on Sunday, March 21, 1948 to the late Earl Edward and Nora Marie Hurley Hamm. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Novella Michelle Hamm, a sister, Ruby Rash and his wife Joyce Ann Day Hamm. Dean retired from Thomasville Furniture.  He enjoyed driving his hot rod cars years ago.  Dean also loved raising dogs and spending time with his family.

Mr. Hamm is survived by: two sons, David Miller of Lansing and Earl Dean Hamm Jr. and fiance, Speedie of West Jefferson, daughter, Cindy (Robert) Price of Creston, daughter in-law, Melissa Maine of Damacus, Virginia, brother, Ronnie Hamm of Lansing, eight grandchildren, Amanda May, Michael Miller, Pamela Jones, David Miller, Jr., Ben Miller, Carrie May, Nevada May and Shelton Price, twelve great-grandchildren, Haylee May, Heather May, Daniel May, Cody Medley, Dalton Jones, Addison Jones, Rachael Miller, Jacob Miller, Kaden Miller, Robbie Miller, Jr., Zoey Miller and Madeline Miller; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be appreciated or memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in memory of Megan Price; 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Funeral Services will be private.
