Earl McPhatter

Earl McPhatter age 84 of Crumpler, NC died Thursday, August 8, 2002 at the Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Mr. McPhatter was born on August 27, 1917 in Scotland County, NC to Daniel David and Anna Edwards McPhatter.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 11, 2002 at 3:00 P.M. at the Jefferson United Methodist Church. Rev. Bob Miller will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Ashelawn Mausoleum of Prayer. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 8, 2002 from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home. The family request no flowers and that memorial donations be made to the Ashe Memorial Hospital, 200 Hospital Ave., Jefferson, NC 28640 or Jefferson United Methodist Church Music Fund, 115 East Main Street, Jefferson, NC 28640.

Wife: Rena Blackwelder McPhatter

Son: Dick and wife Betty McPhatter of Jefferson, NC

Sisters: Mary Lou Ritchie and Ailene Sifford both of Concord, NC

Also are several nieces and nephews
