View this Videotribute Edna Faye Ham, age 64, of Lansing, NC, died Friday, December 28, 2007 at Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson, NC. Mrs. Ham was born February 1, 1943 in Whitetop, VA to the late William and Bertha Baldwin Haga. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers; Lawrence Haga, Virgil Haga, and Junior Haga; one sister; Josephine Dolinger; and a half-brother; Earl Richardson. Mrs. Ham was employed at Leviton Manufacturing Company as a machine operator. Her hobbies included flowers, crafts, sewing and cooking. Her family and grandchildren gave her much enjoyment in life. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 31, 2007 at 2:30 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel in Jefferson, NC. Reverend Larry Shepherd and Reverend T.A. Pennington will officiate. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 pm Monday prior to the funeral service. The family respectfully requests no food please. Ham 2 daughters: Donna Sue Ham of North Wilkesboro, NC; Emily Ham of Lansing, NC. 2 sons: James Dean Ham of Raleigh, NC; Ethan Ham of Lansing, NC. 1 sister: Carol Payne of Whitetop, VA. 2 half-sisters: Marie King of Whitetop, VA.
