Edna Jones

Mrs. Edna Wilcox Jones, age 75, of West Jefferson, NC, died Friday December 20, 2002 at her residence.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 22, 2002, 2:00 P.M. at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel in Jefferson with Rev. Russell Sheets and Rev. Derrick Hodges officiating. Interment followed in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Jones was born in Ashe County, NC April 18, 1927. She was retired from Sprague Electric and was preceded in death by her mother Emma Wilcox and her husband Junior S. Jones.

Survivors include:

One son and daughter in law ? Jimmy and Debbie Jones of West Jefferson, NC

One daughter and son in law ? Judy and David Hardin of West Jefferson, NC

Three grandchildren ? Micheal Emerson, Greg Jones and Matt Hardin all of West Jefferson, NC.

Four great grandchildren several cousins also survive.
