Elaine (Richardson) Phipps

Elaine Richardson Phipps, age 63 of Warrensville, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at her home.  Elaine was born September 27, 1955 in Ashe County to Joseph Dean and Ruby Osborne Richardson.  She was preceded in death by her father.  Elaine was a CNA who really cared about her patients.  She loved to read, sew and make things.  Elaine loved to spend time with her dog Abbey and her family whom she dearly loved.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, March 22, 2019 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jim Greer and Rev. Dustin Farmer.  The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 PM prior to the service.

Mrs. Phipps is survived by her husband, Randy Phipps, daughter, Amy Graybeal Branch and husband Mark of Boone, son, Jody Graybeal and wife Julie of Warrensville, her mother, Ruby Richardson of Warrensville, grandchildren, Emily Chapple and husband Jonathan, Alyson Branch, Victoria Branch and Haleigh Graybeal, great grandchild, Madilyn Chapple, one aunt, one uncle, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
