Ella Catherine Marsh age 96 of Jefferson, NC died Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at the Ashe Living Center. Ms. Marsh was born on July 17, 1906 in Ashe County, NC to Frank and Laura Burkett Marsh. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 16, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at Friendship Baptist Church. Rev. David Grinnell and Rev. Mike Hamby will officiate. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery. Ms. Marsh will lie in state from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 16, 2003 at Friendship Baptist Church. The family request that memorials be made to the Friendship Baptist Church WMU, c/o Polly Marsh, 300 Friendship Baptist Church Rd., Jefferson, NC 28640.
Ms. Marsh is survived by several nieces and nephews.
