Elmer Ham

Elmer W. Ham, age 86 of Grassy Creek died Thursday at Segraves Care Center. He was born on July 4, 1917 in Ashe County, son of the late Leonard Ham and Mamie Black Ham. He married Ruth Crabb on July 16, 1959 in Mt. Airy, NC.
He was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church. Mr. Ham was a man who never met a stranger and was always there when a friend was in need.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 29, 2004 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Rev. Reeves Jones, Rev. Warner Eller and Rev. Herb Parunak will officiate. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 P.M. on Sunday at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Irene Lawrence of Aberdeen, MD
21 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren
& Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
